You will find here a list of some of the water defender organizations and allies who are fighting to protect water and promote water justice here in Canada and internationally. They can provide up-to-date information on various aspects of water to you and your students and make good assignments for outreach.

There are many positive advances in the field of water protection and water justice to report. Included here are positive stories, including new research, new water protection agencies and laws, active networks and coalitions and exciting new commitments, such as biodiversity pledges, rights of rivers and the right to a healthy environment.
