An exciting project of re-wilding and restoring wetlands in West Coast landscapes. A group of biologists and conservationists called Rewilding Water & Earth, restores wetlands and re-wilds them with native plants. British Columbia has lost 90% of its wetlands, a significant threat to the province’s waterways.
Canada has pledged to protect 30% of its land and water by 2030 and much restoration work must be done to meet that goal.
