Report of the UN Special Rapporteur

Pedro Arrojo Agudo is the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation. In this report to the United Nations General Assembly, he links the growing pollution and contamination of waterways to the human rights to safe drinking water for all. He says that fulfilling the human rights of those living in poverty requires restoring the health of aquatic systems everywhere.
